Landscape photography is perhaps the oldest form of analog souvenir allowed by the apparition of cameras. They followed engravings and woodcarvings as a more personal keepsake of a particular place, trip, or moment.
About this piece
Vertical landscape can become a reminder of our timeless fascination for panoramas, a poetic invitation to travel more thoughtfully, and so much more. It is an experiment in many ways, with a bicolour mounting board cutting through the innate horizontality of landscapes. As always, we leave it to you to interpret, but we loved the counter-intuitive nature of this treatment, although the crafting did take quite a few attempts.
